Maybe it’s my enthusiasm speaking, but I think it’s one of the most important additions to the Web medium since browser support for images (How ironic since we precisely eliminate the need for images here…)

I have the same problem as Marc: Trying to open the provided .fla-file I get an “unexpectet file format” error usind Win XP SP2 and Flash MX.

(Editor’s Note: Oops, try it now. I forgot to save the .fla back to MX format. It was MX 2004 format before.)

IE 6 SP2 shows everything without any problems, but a little slower than with older versions (1.1.4), I think.
Opera (7.54 win xp) still shows transparent background as green :(

Cursors:
When the replaced text is a link: IE uses default windows white hand cursor (interesting – my custom is black), Opera takes small Flash-native hand, Firefox 0.8 shows only an arrow pointer.

update: still get a "no-show" in ie/firefox when i feed this as application/xml. example here (source ) .. this is the zipped example + xhtml strict + header() trough php.. am i doing something wrong?
